Tóco d’Azur : Your Dutch real estate agent ‘sur place’.

Like many people we fell in love with southern France. With the many hours of sunshine, the wonderful climate, beautiful natural landscapes and cultural richness, the South of France is a popular place to buy a (second) house, apartment or land. A place to enjoy life.

In 2009 we decided to live and work in southern France. But even we, three Dutch brokers, ran into many problems when buying a house in the south of France.

Each country simply has its own rules and regulations and you have to deal with it. And we did.

We have been working for years now as real estate agents in the south of France and we know exactly the ins and outs. Nothing is new to us.

With our experience, expertise and no-nonsense approach we assist throughout the search and purchase process. A service of the highest level, professional and reliable. Always an honest opinion.

Nice to know: Tóco d’azur was founded by Dutch entrepreneur Sylvia Tóth. Among other distinctions, she received the Dutch Businesswoman of the Year Award in 1985 and the Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World award in 1998. The entire staff of tóco d’azur shares her enthusiasm and follows the example of her professional approach.  After years of collaboration Patricia ten Have, broker and construction engineer in southern France, has take over the company. Sylvia Tóth is still closely involved in the company.

Patricia ten Have

Patricia has worked for years in the Netherlands as project manager in the construction industry. She was responsible for large utility and health building projects. In 2009 she moved to the south of France due to the much more appealing (living) climate in the South of France. She started her own real estate agency in Nice.

Once familiar with the French real estate system, she also began to build villas by herself. She worked with various renowned architects on the Côte d’Azur.

Patricia’s architectural background and impressive knowledge of the areas and places of the Côte d’Azur are of great added value in the searching- and purchasing process with her customers.

Jens Panneman

Jens is working at tóco d’azur since 2016. Jens studied Law in Amsterdam but has always been very interested in the real estate sector. In the Netherlands he worked for a real estate agency in Amsterdam region. The variation in contacts and bringing together buyers and sellers in the search for imovable property, with all their different wishes and demands, is what makes this area of work so varied and challenging for Jens.

With his passion and no-nonsense mentality he guides his clients in the process of purchasing their (dream) house or apartment. Jens mainly works outside Nice. His knowledge of the region and all the different villages and cities come in handy. He lives with great pleasure in Biot.

Pieter de Mik

Pieter has been active for a long time in the real estate business in the South of France. Finding a suitable house, apartment or terrain and everything that comes with it is a process in which Pieter is highly motivated to assist you. His warm contacts with his French colleague brokers and home owners at the Cote are undeniably a surplus. According to Pieter, the pleasant climate (300 days of sunshine a year) and the quiet pace of living make working and living in the South of France very pleasant. Pieter has been living in Nice since 2010. He knows the city and the sights. Think of the Promenade des Anglais with the beach a short distance away, Les Collines (the hills) with beautiful views and of course the Mont Boron, the ‘South Kensington’ of Nice. For those who do not want to settle permanently in Nice or the immediate vicinity of the city, a second home could be an attractive alternative. With Nice’s international airport, Nice is within reach of all corners of the world. With his substantial knowledge of Nice and neighbourhoods and suburbs accompanied with his enormous network at the Cote d’Azur, Pieter will be able to help you in finding the property that suits you best.
