Villa Dominante has been completely newly renovated in 2007 to provide 4 spacious and luxurious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a living room and state-of-the-art kitchen and dining room with one glass window/wall which can be completely opened to create free-flowing access to the outside terrace and one of the most spectacular views of the Côte d’Azur

Completely refurbished in 2007 using local materials, stonework and marble, the villa offers very comfortable accommodation for 8 people arranged over the upper ground level of the house.
Living Room – Two large sofas, antique fireplace, TV with full Sky TV package (including Sky Sports, Sky Movies and Kids channel), DVD player with film library, CD player with selection of CDs, Wifi broadband internet throughout the house.
Kitchen and Dining Room – Fully-equipped modern kitchen with large US fridge, microwave, hob and oven. Dining table for up to 12 people. Glass wall (re-enforced security glass) which can be completely opened to create a fabulous indoor/outdoor dining atmosphere to enjoy the view.
Master Bedroom Suite – Super-king size bed, private terrace overlooking village of Callian. En-suite bathroom with double sink, bath and huge walk-in shower.

The Grounds |
Villa Dominante is set within a South-facing terraced garden of about 1,500 m2 comprised of flat lawned area, olive trees and lavender banks. There is a beautiful private swimming pool (12x5 m) surrounded by sun terrace with loungers and sun umbrellas.
Accessed by a small lane leading up the hill from the village square, the environment is very peaceful and private. The villa is located in quiet a residential neighbourhood comprising well-spaced detached villas. It is rural without being isolated and conveniently just a short walk into the village. The entrance gates open into a flat gravelled area with on-site parking for 3 cars. Through the olive terrace, steps lead down to the garden where there’s a gas BBQ terrace and table and chairs for outdoor dining.

Location |
Villa Dominante is only a few minutes walk to the cafes and restaurants around the village square of Montauroux. There are two boulangeries for fresh morning croissants and a local butcher just round the corner. The village tennis courts are at the end of the street and are open to the public.
Montauroux is a classic Provence hilltop town with meandering streets, a bustling village square and lovely views down into the valley. Founded over 1,000 by the Grimaldi family of Monaco, Christian Dior is among the many people to have lived there. The pretty neighbouring village of Callian is visible from the villa and Fayence is 5 minutes away.
Nice airport - 40 minutes with additional international connections from Toulon airport (1hr away) and Marseilles (1 ½ hrs). 20 minutes to Cannes, Antibes and the coast, 10 minutes to Grasse and 1hr to St Tropez. Local attractions include the Lac St Cassien and the Gorge du Verdon – the largest gorge in Europe.
Golf – there are 8 golf courses within 15 minutes of the villa including 2 championship courses at the new Four Seasons Resort of Terre Blanche which also offers 4 restaurants and an exclusive spa.
The area offers some great food and wine experiences having a number of excellent restaurants, local vineyards and one of the finest fois gras farms in the country!

Villa Dominante is available for rent all year round. The property is booked on a weekly basis from 4pm the day of arrival to 10am the day of departure.
