Les Trois Pins is a beautiful Provencal villa set amid olives and palm trees on the pine-scented hillside of the Gorge du Loup. From the vine terrace are breathtaking views over the medieval ‘village perche’ (perched village) of Le Bar-sur-Loup with the mountains of the gorge rising in the background.

This spacious property consists of a large five bedroom house with an independent double bedroom studio apartment set amid lovely gardens laid out in flat lawned terraces with a large heated swimming pool overlooking the valley. Built in traditional Provencal style, with terracotta tiled roof and painted wooden shutters, the property provides luxury accommodation for up to 14 people.

Les Trois Pins is a large family house with five bedrooms in the main house and a separate double bedroom apartment, comfortably accommodating 12-14 people.

The Grounds

The property is set in over two acres of lovely Mediterranean gardens, laid out in flat lawned terraces planted with olives, palms, lavender, oleander and roses. There is a fabulous heated swimming pool (12x6m) surrounded by a wide sunny pool terrace with beautiful views over the gorge.

From the house, French windows lead out onto a panoramic terrace shaded by an established vine with a long teak table for al-fresco dining On one side of the property is an olive grove and on the other a lane leading to two other properties. Secluded but not isolated, the villa is accessed by a private road and has parking for up to four cars.

Facilities Heated pool (12x6m), panoramic vine terrace, boules pitch (floodlit at night), children’s swings and sandpit, family-sized gas BBQ, traditional coal BBQ, stone pizza oven.

Location

Les Trois Pins is a couple of minutes from the picturesque medieval village of Le Bar-sur-Loup which has a good selection of local shops and restaurants. The larger shopping area of Chateauneuf is about five minutes away

It’s about 15 minutes to the lively market town of Valbonne, St Paul de Vence and Grasse, about half an hour to Cannes, Antibes and the beaches of the Côte d’Azur and 40 minutes from Nice airport.

Activities are on the doorstep – golf, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, go-karting, and in winter skiing at the nearby slopes of Greolieres (about 30 mins). There are five quality golf courses within 20 minutes of Riveloup and the local tennis club can be booked by the hour or day. There’s a marine park for children and each village has a busy, year-round programme of local fêtes, street markets, music and theatre.
